The beauties in the vastness of New York are well documented and during your road trip, you can basically move from one tourist landmark to another, not particularly deviating from the recommendations mentioned in the guidebooks.

But if you're looking for an alternative travel option, it will give you a chance to make a dream trip - as in the following drim-trip routes.

1. Computer travel through Middle-earth

It's the best dream trip., than any other on this list, because a journey through Middle-earth can start and end on your computer.

As part of the launch of the Project of the Hobbit Film Series / The Hobbit, Google Map / Google Maps teamed up with Warner Bros. / Warner Brothers, to create an interactive map for some of the key regions of J. Р. P. Tolkien.

Walk through the picturesque Rivendell outpost, before making the journey to Lonely Mountain. Feel free to return to the Shire, If re-passing the original route is not your childhood dream.

2. From Wellington to Kitek National Park / Kaitoke.

This route will give you the opportunity to visit the real part of Middle-earth, without climbing on, Kaitok Regional Park. Not very interesting 50 minutes from Wellington city centre, or an hour and a half through the picturesque Valley of Pukeria Bay / Pukerua Bay, and you're in Kaitok, National Park, which is the centerpiece of the shooting for Tolkien Rivendell, locations of semi-els.
