Snowy ( Snowy River) - A river in south-eastern Australia, shared by the states New South Wales and Victoria.Length of the Snowy River is 352 km, source of the river at the foot of Mount Kosciuszko, located in the Australian Alps.
The river flows through New South Wales, then flows through the National Park Snowy River,Located in Victoria. Near the town of Marlow Snowy River flows into Bass Strait. The river flows through the city:Кума,
Nimmitibel, Bombali, Orbost, Marlo and has many small tributaries, fed by water, resulting from the melting mountain snows.
In the 1950-1960-s on the river system was constructed dams and reservoirs to provide water of agricultural areas,This led to a strong narrowing of the river in some places.
