The beauty of the snowy mountains in the midst of summer.

While the ski season still continues to attract the most visitors, the summer season means, that Thredbo can offer such activities, as mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, Golf, mountaineering and climbing, riding a quad bike and scenic helicopter tours.

During the summer, in Thredbo also hosts many festivals and other events, including cycling and mountain-biking contests, Blues and jazz festivals, Australia Day celebrations, Writers Festival in snowy mountains and walks under a full moon.

Famous musician Wendy Matthews with the group got a soulful Blues Festival reception.

In 2014 marks 20 years Thredbo Blues Festival, held annually in mid-January. Thousands of fans are flocking to the resort Thredbo Blues, to indulge in three days «soothing soul blues tunes», under the local wine and gourmet meals on the picturesque backdrop of snow-capped mountains.

A large part of the weekend weather remained sunny, with 26 degrees at the level of the Thredbo Village / Thredbo Village, and with more cool temperatures at the top of the nearby mountains.

Thredbo Blues Festival made 22 Australian musician, not counting the constant clients and interesting newcomers. Music, played on various internal and external public venues, across the Valley.
