All three major cities are Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng and Vientiane are easily accessible on foot, and Laos stands out as a budget paradise, where you can live and work comfortably for less than 50 dollars per day. And accommodation in Luang Prabang and Vang Vieng will cost only 20 USD per night.

In Vang Vieng, I went twice for lunch at the family's establishment, where homely charm extended to a superb chicken sandwich, 10 juicy kebabs, Crispy cucumber salad, Freshly squeezed lemon and mint juice, as well as Pepsi, And all this for 12 dollars – a testament to the city's culinary charm and affordability.
