Naruma: a guide to visiting the south coast of New South Wales

Coastal turquoise waters, charming beaches and incredible ancient geological rock formations are worth it, to visit the coastal city of Naruma, five hours away from Sydney and three from Canberra.
But it is also possible to board a plane to the nearest moruya airport and pass the remaining 42 km south in a rented car.
Naruma with its busy shops, Fresh seafood and amazing natural attractions is a vibrant attraction on the south coast. Gord is also the gateway to the nearby island of Montague, in the majestic wonderland of wildlife, where they live more than 90 species of birds and hundreds of fur seals.
Montague Island, located in just one of 9 km from the coast of Naruma, is a must-have place for snorkeling, where you can visit the seaweed, ride with dolphins and swim with seals.
The island is also a popular base for game fishing and whale-watching cruises, But if you prefer to stay on land, you can admire the tranquil scenery with 360-degree views from the top of the montague lighthouse. If you're not ready to say goodbye to Montague, you also have the opportunity to stay in one of the lighthouse caretaker cottages on the island!
But that's not all, what Narum has to offer. Visit the sparkling waters at the entrance to Wagongu, where you can see the ancient cliffs of Glasshouse, Whose age, according to the Geological Society of Australia, can reach 510 millions of years.
