MOUNT AUGUSTUS National Park – 480 kilometres north-east of Carnarvon

Mount Augustus is the largest monoklinalnym mountain formation (i.e.. is characterized by gently sloping tilt in one direction relative to the Earth's surface) in the world and is situated in the National Park of Mount August.

In 2014 year completed the construction of a new staircase into the Valley of Gorges with improved access for visitors. Further construction is planned on the ladder sections 2015 Year. From the camp goes a number of hiking trails, enable you to explore and study specific points, Lakes and Gorges. The Park is located 140 campsites, which can accommodate tents, large caravans, camper-vans and trailers campers.

In the area of the Shire of Jeshvarton in 2014 the western section was opened Banjima Dr, improved access to Western gorges Veano, Hancock and Auxerre.
